Funding at the Mora Food Shelf comes from donations and grants. Here is a breakdown of cash donations in 2017:

92% of cash donations are used to purchase food to be distributed at the food shelf.

In 2017, MFP recevied 90,733 lbs. of food donated by the community. In the same time period 217,780 lbs. were given out to families in need.

As a food shelf, MFP was able to purchase discounted food through Second Harvest Food Bank in Grand Rapids, MN. Therefore, cash donations are especially appreciated.

The Mora Food Pantry accepts food donations during pantry hours:
Tuesdays and Fridays 9:30am to Noon.
